GETTING TO DUBLIN'S TOP CONCERT VENUES FROM ROGANSTOWN HOTEL

A short taxi from Roganstown will get you to Swords town centre for Dublin Bus connections, or to Malahide DART Station, opening up the whole city with ease.

Malahide Castle is the closest major concert venue to Roganstown, a very short hop across the North Dublin coastline.

Taxi
Approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Our reception team can arrange a taxi for you.

Dublin Bus
Take a short taxi to Swords Main Street, then Bus Route 42 towards Malahide. Alight at Malahide Village — the Castle grounds are a short walk from there.

DART
Take a local taxi to Malahide DART Station (approximately 10 minutes). Malahide is the northern terminus of the DART line, with frequent services running southbound. On the return journey, the DART from Malahide brings you right back to the station for a taxi home.

One of Dublin's most beautiful outdoor concert settings, St Anne's Park in Raheny is easily accessible from Roganstown via the DART.

DART (Recommended)
Take a taxi to Malahide DART Station (approximately 10 minutes), then hop on the southbound DART to Raheny Station, just three stops and approximately 10 minutes away. St Anne's Park is a short five-minute walk from Raheny Station, making this one of the easiest venue journeys of the summer.

Dublin Bus

Route 41 from Swords Main Street runs directly into Dublin City Centre. Alight on the North Strand Road in the Fairview area — Fairview Park is a short walk from the main road. Route 41 runs regularly throughout the day and evening.

DART

Take a taxi to Malahide DART Station, then the DART southbound to Clontarf Road Station (approximately 15 minutes). Fairview Park is then a pleasant 10 to 12 minute walk along the seafront.

Approximately 35 to 40 minutes. Our reception team can arrange a taxi for you.

DART (Recommended)
Take a taxi to Malahide DART Station, then the southbound DART to Lansdowne Road Station, which sits directly beside the Aviva Stadium. The full journey takes approximately 35 to 40 minutes and drops you at the stadium gates. This is by far the easiest and most hassle-free way to get to and from Aviva events, with no post-concert taxi queues.

Dublin Bus
Bus Route 41 from Swords Main Street runs to the city centre. From O'Connell Street, Routes 3, 11, 16 or 123 will take you to the Jones Road and Croke Park area. Allow approximately 50 to 60 minutes in total including the connection.


Top tip:
On major Croke Park concert nights, special event bus services sometimes operate from Dublin Airport, which is just a short taxi from Roganstown.

Bus Route 41 from Swords Main Street to the city centre, then a short walk or bus connection to the Docklands. Total journey time approximately 50 to 60 minutes.

DART
Take a taxi to Malahide DART Station, then the southbound DART to Connolly Station (approximately 25 minutes). The 3Arena is an easy 10-minute walk from Connolly Station along the quays, or a very short taxi. A great option for Westlife nights, particularly if you want to avoid post-show queues.

Top tip for Westlife: With 13 shows across September, the city will be busy on concert nights. We strongly recommend pre-booking your taxi home before you leave the hotel. Our reception team are happy to help.

Taxi
Approximately 50 to 60 minutes. Given the rural location, we strongly recommend pre-booking a taxi in both directions with our reception team.

Concert Bus Services
MCD Productions typically run official concert bus services to Slane from Dublin City Centre on the day of the show, with tickets available through Ticketmaster. Take the Route 41 bus from Swords into the city centre and connect to the Slane concert bus from there. Check mcd.ie for details closer to the dates.

Driving
Slane is approximately 50 minutes by car from Roganstown via the M1 and N2. If you are planning to drive, please arrange a designated driver well in advance, as the roads around Slane are very busy after the show.
