Wedding Hair and Makeup Top Tips
Allow enough time
It’s important to start your beauty regime at least six months prior to your wedding.
This allows time to let your eyebrows grow in, giving a full natural look so less brow shadow or gel is needed. It also allows time for you to create the perfect look for your big day. If you're thinking of getting a wedding day updo consider letting your hair grow as long as possible, before going in for a simple, clean-up trim close to the wedding date.
Prepare your skin and hair
At your first visit, we analyse your skin and discuss a course of pre-wedding facials, which are performed a few weeks apart, with the final red-carpet facial being performed the week before the wedding. This ensures your skin has a beautiful natural glow.
When it comes to your hair you need lots of time to condition, so it is in tip top shape and you have the perfect look for your big day. We recommend treating your hair with L'oreal Smartbond if you are colouring it. For ultimate shine on your wedding day, we recommend six applications.
Book in for trials
Trials are extremely important and allow you to see exactly how your makeup and hair will look on your big day. We offer manual or airbrush applications. If you are unsure which is suitable for you, we can trial both. You will then know exactly what to expect and can enjoy the morning of your wedding with your family and friends.
Likewise exploring different options with our hair stylist is extremely important so that you know which style you want to go with on the day. Be advised that on the day when you are dressing you may need your stylist there to assist just as you step into your gown so as not to mess up your hair.
