Terms & Conditions

All reservations and agreements are made upon, and are subject to, the rules and regulations of the hotel and the following conditions.

  • Weekend functions must have a minimum number of 130 adults and a maximum of 220 adults (Friday, Saturday & Bank Holidays). Should your numbers range between 100 to 130 guests; a room hire charge of €1000 will apply. For weddings whose numbers range between 80 to 100 a room hire charge of €1500 will apply.
  • Weddings from Sunday to Thursday must have minimum numbers of 80 guests.
  • Provisional bookings are held for a period of 14 day only. A deposit of €1500 is required to secure the booking date along with a signed copy of the booking contract. Deposits are accepted in good faith and are strictly non-refundable. We accept payment of deposit by credit card, cheque or bank draft.
  • Should you need to postpone your function, the original deposit can be transferred to another date within 12 months of the original date, providing the Company is given a minimum of 12 weeks written notice. Please note that price increases may occur.
  • Deposits are non-transferable within 12 weeks of the booking date.
  • Your choice of menu, wine and final details must be agreed at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure availability of all items desired. It is required that you serve wine and order a minimum of a five-course meal (starter, soup/sorbet, main course, dessert, tea/coffee).
  • Full settlement of the account must be made by bank draft or cheque 1 week prior to your event. We will provide a pro-forma invoice to facilitate settlement. All outstanding balances must be settled the day after your event with the Manager on Duty.
  • The seating plan must be submitted one week prior to the wedding date. Any slight alterations to the seating plan can be made prior to the event.
  • Final numbers must be confirmed to the Events manager 48 hours before the event. The final figure is the minimum number of meals for which the client guarantees payment.
  • All prices are quoted in Euro and are inclusive of VAT. Prices are valid until December 2009.
  • No beverage of any kind will be permitted to be brought into the hotel.
  • In the unfortunate event of cancellation, the following cancellation charges apply:

    - Up to 12 weeks prior to the date of the wedding ~ €1500 cancellation fee.
    - From 12 to 4 weeks prior to the date of the wedding ~ 50% of the total value of the booking
    - From 4 weeks prior to the wedding date ~ 100% of the total value of the wedding booking.

 

  • The hotel will not directly book entertainment for the client. However, it is essential that all entertainment is approved by management of the Hotel prior to the date of your reception.
  • The cost of obtaining a bar extension on your behalf will be added to the final account.

Wedding Rooms

  • 20 rooms will be held on your wedding block
  • If Bride & Groom only are to book from this block a restriction will be put in place, this instruction needs to be put in writing to Reservations Manager.
  • 20 rooms are the maximum number of rooms that Roganstown Golf & Country Club will hold however if more rooms are required they should be booked directly with Roganstown Golf & Country Club and guaranteed by the guests own credit card.  The wedding rate when booked through the hotel includes Full Irish breakfast.
  • Rooms are available via our website however please note that this is a Room Only rate and does NOT include breakfast

Room Plan as follows:

  • 1 Double room = 1 double bed
  • 1 Twin room = 2 single beds
  • Interconnecting rooms = 1 double room with interconnecting door to 1 twin room and there are 4 sets of interconnecting rooms available and they must be pre-booked. Roganstown Golf & Country Club have 3 wheelchair accessible rooms
  • We can provide a fold up bed in some of our rooms which would be suitable for children, however these are on a first come basis and there is a limited number of fold up beds available. There will be a supplement charge of €40.00 for a fold-up bed.
  • When the Bride & Groom reserve room for their guests we would ask that each guest call and guarantee the booking with their own credit card or deposit. All wedding rooms held on the block will be released 4 weeks prior to the wedding date if they have not been named.
  • If the company is prevented or hindered from carrying out any of its obligations by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to government interventions, strikes or labour disputes, actions, Acts of God, national or local disasters or war. Then the Company’s liability to the client shall be no greater than the amount actually paid by the client to the Company in respect of the event.
